POEM
Love dances on the edge of dawn
On gently morning breezes
And lights upon my heart so still
To tempt me as it pleases
No ray of sun could be so warm
As love's sweet breath on me
And I am safe in its embrace
For all eternity
I just wanna love you
For the rest of my life
I just wanna hold you
I want your body close to me
I love the way you look at me
How you kissed me on my lips
I love everything about you
You're my life my love
If you'll be mine, please be mine
I'll do everything for you
Cause no one can replace you
Because I love you so
TRAVELOGUE
Good morning everyone! My name is Khim Carl Cortez Barredo your tour guide for today. Now, you're here in the Rizal Monument which is the main attraction inside Rizal Park (Luneta Park). It is usually looked upon as the main monument in the Philippines because it was built to commemorate the country's national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. The Rizal Monument consists of an obelisk set upon platform, with a bronze sculpture at the base of the obelisk. It is located near the site where Rizal was executed on December 30,1896.
The place is guarded continuously by official soldiers known as the Kabalyeros de Rizal (Knights of Rizal).the focus of the two soldiers is aweinspiring because no movements can be seen unless they take their 15 minutes break every couple of hours or so.
A plaque on the west side of the monument reads: "To the memory of Jose Rizal, patriot and martyr, executed at Bagumbayan Feild December 30,1896, this monument is dedicated by the people of the Philippine Islands".
It was planned and constructed during the American colonial period of the Philippines in the early 20th century. In September 1901, the Philippines Assembly Act No. 243 "granting the right to use public land upon the Luneta in the City of Manila" and upon which "a monument shall be erected to Jose Rizal, the Philippine patriot, writer and poet".
Dr. Jose Rizal is notably known for being a patriot and the most prominent advocate for reforms in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial era. Now a days, people can see thousands of Rizal Monuments spread all over the Philippines. Most of them can be seen in City Halls, Schools and Plazas. These monuments give honor to the country's political figure and national hero, Jose Protasio Rizal Mercado Y Alonso Realonda.
The Rizal Monument in Manila is one of the most acknowledged tourist attractions in the Philippines. Asking for directions from locals is fairly easy. If you're a Filipino, you shouldn't miss this place. I know you've seen Rizal Monument in your books while you're in the Elementary level and seeing it in person is just simply amazing. Just don't try to make fun of the honorable ceremonial guards.
SONNET
Our eyes meet
My heart skips a beat
To embrace this uniqueness
Called love
Camniss of breath
Ultra-thin slices of guilt
Condensed with fear
You cannot face
The power of love
All consuming, passionate fierce
Deep in my soul
An ocean across the breeze
Deep breaths are like little love notes
DESCRIPTIVE WRITING
Every I heared the word "Lesson" there is something into my mind it such one thing that I can't explained. I think that is knowledge, for me lesson and knowledge are connected or maybe they are the same. We got a lesson in every struggles that we have done before and all of that give us a lot of information and strength.
Lesson in life can make us a better version of yourself. So it's important to make us a better person in the future and also it make us a good person. I do believed that lesson in life can change the world and it is possible to be the key to successful.
STUDENT LIFE IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL AT STICA
What comes in your mind when you heared the word SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL? So what is your biggest senior high in life? What does it mean for you? How important is it into your life? Do you believe that it can change your life and the world? Let’s talk about it
In my every day stay inside the classroom and school so many people you can see with different types of attitude. I remember when I was a grade 11 there’s a lot of people that I meet with their attitudes. My life as a grade 11 before is too easy ‘cause I understand all of the lesson and assignments giving to us and before I don’t have many friends In school, my only friends is my classmates, im so happy in my grade 11 days, no paper works, sometimes our prof. giving a task to do but it’s too easy
Here’s the 2nd semester in grade 11 the member of Teatro Versátil they announce that club have a audition in AVR (Audio Visual Room) me and my other classmate comes to AVR to attend in the audition of the club that time im so very nervous because this is the first time that I attend in club and having a audition after that my number was called I go in the middle of the platform and they said ‘kumanta ka’’ I don’t have a talent to sing with different kind of music. And I sing my favorite song which is ‘’Ngiti by Ronnie Liang’’ and I pick a line from the popular movies here in the Philippines. And I act this in many kind emotions. Im too nervous I can’t express all of my emotions.
Other day our prof. in Practical Research she announce that we having a Defense in our thesis so im shock I don’t understand our thesis statement. In the day of defense I read carefully our thesis statement to understand and to defend our work but I didn’t understand. Im so sad in that day I don’t have any contribution in our thesis. So I want to enhance or too improve my knowledge when it comes to thesis. In the day of the graduation of grade 12 students in STI College Alabang I motivate that someday I walk in the stage to get my diploma in High School and to graduate in my school.
Now im a grade 12 student in my SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL I didn’t expect there’s a lot of paper works comes to us so im shock and I do not do the giving task because iknow even your grade is lowest you can graduate in high school but im wrong in this 2nd quarter I’ll do my best to until my grade back to normal without line of 7. In my grade 12 student there’s a lot of people I meet, before i don’t have a lot of friends but now a have friends in tertiary, SHS Gr. 11 and Gr.12 and also a other teachers and staff because of the Teatro Verrsátil. This time i’ll never opportunities be gone. I’ll do my best to finish my high school days and to become a successful leader of police officer.
There’s no perfect in the world, all of the people make a mistakes in their everyday lives. But let this people correct they mistakes. Learn to give important the things comes to our life ‘cause you don’t know someday all of your works is gone. -Khim Carl
